A lot of distraught Monkey Robot readers have been deluging me with questions of where I have been for the past month, and what has been going on with the site. Rest assured that all is fine, and I most certainly plan on continuing Monkey Robot. In a word, the last month has been hectic, and I have simply not had time to write. Thanksgiving, finals, the end of the semester, Christmas preparation…well, the list just continues on and on. Fortunately, I am now home on break until the 15 January or so, so I should have plenty of time for updating the site. In addition to more regular posts, I have a few ideas in mind for improving the site, including adding the ability to file posts under categories (allowing for easier browsing), and possibly adding a photos section. Oh, and I hope to get the Person of the Week jumpstarted again, too. I’ve been lazy with that lately, and I am planning on enlisting the help of Monkey Robot readers by adapting a nomination system for the Person of the Week—but more on that later.

Oh, I’d like to mention that Wiz Stark was gracious enough to send in a story about the always entertaining goings-on of my alma mater, Lewisburg Area High School. I fully intend to publish that story very soon; it’s out of date by now, but it’s humorous enough that it warrants being posted. Wiz, if you’re reading this, rest assured that I have not forgotten about your email!
