November 24th 2008 24: Redemption

I’m a big fan of 24. Some people don’t like 24 because of its blatant lack of realism and occasional poor acting and writing, but I’m not chagrined to admit that I’ve seen every episode. Naturally, I watched the 2-hour TV special, 24: Redemption, on Fox last night.

I thought it was kind of cool that the episode dealt with the issue of child soldiers in Africa. A friend of mine is really interested in this problem. She doesn’t like 24, but maybe I could’ve gotten her to watch this episode. Kiefer Sutherland even did a short spot for a group that’s working to fight the problem.

Anyway, I thought it was cool that 24 was tackling this issue, if even in a small way.
